I am new to this site but I know if you Have Windows 7 Professional you can download a virtual machine and a image file from microsoft that allows you to run xp system in windows 7 . I have windows 7 Ultimate and have found most programs run in xp compatibility mode and run as administrator . You can go in "control pannel" , "user accounts" , "Change user account settings" and change your user control setting never notify and all programs will run without windows 7 certifation . I hope this maybe help you .

re the 8150.Ext Rom that expands to 2-24 .cab files linked on this site - has anyone tried it on WM6.1? - I have a 8150 that came with 6.1 but I'd like the Profile Controller and the WMP controller as they are not present. Can I just add those particular 2 cabs?

Hi,
can anyone recommend a today plugin that actually works with the 8502 on WM 6.1. I've tried a couple (even one that you pay for!) and they will not run.
I just want the today screen to launch media player and have a quick profile manager as it has disappeared off the 6.1 Rom,

Recently got ultimate 8502. Got the rom upgrade file to upgrade to win mobile 6.1 from 6.0.
However does not allow installation for the same on pc running windows 7 professional.
Any idea as to how this can be handled.

I bought one new Ultimate 8150. Within 2 days I found that the battery does not last long even one day.. even with the talk time acrued is less than one hour.

However the most important is when the battery is down to 25% or less I found that there are no calls received. The Caller gets either a ring tone or a few times out of coverage message. Secondly during this condition if I call the phone indicates dialling is being done but there is no call received by the other receiver. Worst the call can not be ended unless I switch off/ on the phone again. After this however the calls are received properly/ initiated properly.

Can anyone suggest the solution?

Pls help my fix my Imate ultimate-8502' trouble. Frequently its timezones is automatically changed with an alert on the device' screen: "your time zone has been changed, pls confirm your home region". I confirmed but it happens again when I move from a room to an other... in my house. (It regularly change from the GMT+7 (Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta) to GMT Cassablanca).

I have the following problems with my I-mate Ultimate 6150:

1- Every time I send an SMS, it is stored in the “inbox” as well as in the “sent items”. How to prevent it from storing sent SMS in the “Inbox” ?

2- When I receive a new SMS, the old messages from the same sender is also shown in the same SMS ( Similar to when you do “Reply” for an email).. How to make it show only the latest SMS?
